Backstory
1024 = 2¹⁰. Also written as a 'kilobyte' in the binary sense — the historical origin of the tension between 1024-byte KB and 1000-byte kB used in file sizes. It is the smallest 4-digit power of two, with siblings 2048, 4096, and 8192 following before the count of digits ticks over.
