Backstory

46,656 = 6⁶ = 36³ = 216² is simultaneously a perfect square, cube, and sixth power. Sixth powers form the intersection of squares and cubes; the sequence starts 1, 64, 729, 4096, 15625, 46656, and grows fast — the next is 117649 = 7⁶.
